Description
SUMMARY: Makes and services a wide variety of moderately to highly complex business deposits to build long-term and profitable customer relationships in order to maximize portfolio revenue growth. Grows assigned geographic business banking and commercial deposit portfolio utilizing sourcing and retention activities targeted at clients/prospects with defined revenues of $3,000,0000 - $250,000,000.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Achieves portfolio revenue growth and production expectations of by:
a) Effectively researching and sourcing new customers to investigate the needs for business banking and commercial deposit products and services.
b) Actively calling on prospects to build a long term relationship while also investigating the needs for products and services.
c) Developing sales proposals; negotiating with customers on pricing, etc. with market leader guidance; developing fee income from depository services
d) Introducing customers to other departments for cross-sell opportunities.
e) Monitoring customer information/products, financial plan and market trends to identify new customer needs and opportunities to deliver further customer value.
f) Facilitates the timely and efficient resolution of client questions/complaints.
2) Works closely with credit administration to create deposit solutions that meet client needs.
3) Identifies and refers relationships with credit needs (beyond operational exposure) to Business Banking and Commercial Relationship Managers
4) Participates in special projects and assignments and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree (B. A.) with a minimum of four to six years banking experience
• Expertise and strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating system & Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel and Outlook.
• Effectively researches, analyzes and evaluates information to make decisions, solve problems and achieve goals; strong project management skills desired.
• Ability to read and listen, understand and communicate information and ideas in a clear and understandable manner, both orally and in writing with senior executives, business unit management and staff, state and federal regulators and officials and significant business partners.
