The Retirement Plan Transactions Specialist is responsible for researching and verifying participant transactions, as well as items that are not in good order. This is accomplished through phone calls, emails, and letters.
Primary Responsibilities
• Contact current participants to verify retirement plan withdrawal requests and correct requests that are not in good order.
• Develops extensive job knowledge by applying written procedures, special handling, plan bulletins, tax charts and plan level set up rules.
• Prioritize and complete all applicable processing in accordance within departmental, corporate, IRS, Department of Labor, FINRA and SEC regulations and requirements
Qualifications
• Previous Account Administration experience or 6 months in a related position
• Demonstrated leadership ability and decision making skills
• Degree in Business, Finance, or similar field strongly preferred; or 2 years of directly related experience in cash/financial experience
Registrations:
• FINRA 6 registration permitted, but not required. Corporate-established timelines apply to permitted registrations.
• FINRA fingerprinting required.
Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
• Normal Office Working Conditions
• This position frequently requires periodic and mandatory (usually unscheduled) overtime as all work items must be processed same-day.
• May be required to lift 20 + pounds with frequent repetition and perform highly manual, repetitive tasks involving the use of hands, sometimes for an entire shift.
