Job Summary:
Reporting to the Regulatory Engagement Manager for Americas Risk Management (ARM), the Analyst will be responsible for supporting regulatory exams and audits for the ARM division. The role includes building out exam and audit management best practices, establishing consistent protocols across ARM, and assist in developing key messages for senior Risk leaders, internal audit and regulators. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, supporting the team on exam and audit preparations and managing exam deliverables to efficaciously deliver positive outcomes on regulatory exams and audits.
Major Responsibilities:
Working on a team as a key contributor, the analyst will support the end-to-end management of exams and audits within ARM. Responsibilities include exam preparation, analysis of existing issues to identify potential gaps, researching industry guidance and best practices and support the development of key messages through analysis for kick off materials. Manage requests for information and tracking follow-up items for exams and audits through to completion. The Analyst will be expected to develop reporting to track regulatory and audit feedback and themes across ARM to identify emerging risks and trends. The candidate will play a key role in the development of best practices and consistent execution across ARM.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree required
• Experience working at a financial institution or regulator
• Exceptional analytical skills working with large data sets across systems and leveraging Excel and Access
• Excellent PowerPoint skills; experience developing key messages in concise format within PowerPoint
• Ability to identify and develop key reporting metrics and trends
• Ability to deliver results within a complex environment; support development of best practices
• Foundational understanding of Systems
• Problem solver
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong work ethic, ability to work independently to drive results, while contributing to a team
• Comfortable working in a new function and adaptable to changing priorities/ environments
• Ability to build relationships with people at all levels
• 2 plus years' work experience
