Responsibilities:
The Contract Advisor Lead is responsible for leading the Forms Development and Filing team. In this role you will be responsible for development and maintenance of all contracts, riders and related state approved forms for the Life business unit. Additional responsibilities include:
• Analysis and interpretation of complex regulatory changes
• Ensure appropriate action is taken to ensure both new and existing products follow state and federal laws.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
• 10+ years related work experience required
• Detailed knowledge of individual life products preferred
• CLU, FLMI, or AIRC designation preferred
• Extensive knowledge of insurance laws and regulations required.
• Extensive knowledge of all aspects of the policy drafting/submission process needed.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, communication and leadership skills as well as the ability to work independently.
• Must have good diplomacy and negotiating skills to deal with internal customers, state insurance departments and industry contacts.
