A DAY IN THE LIFE
In this role, you will…
• Be responsible for the development and execution of the overall marketing and communications strategy, market positioning and messaging strategy and tactical execution of marketing plans in support of divisional goals.
• Manage all marketing activities, including: content development, advertising (print and online), sales collateral creation, lead generation, public relations, thought leadership, website, social media activities and other marketing and communication needs as required
• Develop and manage the marketing budget for division
• Collaborate and work with Corporate Marketing and Executive teams to ensure strategy aligns with company goals and parent brands
• Implement lead acquisition strategy to build and expand prospect database.
• Develop marketing campaigns in support of new products and services and overall objectives.
• Analyze results of campaigns to determine the most effective allocation of budget
• Manage other initiatives as necessary
Qualifications
WHO YOU ARE
You possess …
• BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related field (MBA preferred)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing/Communications with experience leading projects
• Experience in mortgage industry preferred
• Solid experience with social media including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
• Good organization and management skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customers and public
• Proficiency in satisfying internal and external customer needs and concerns and representing company's best interest
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
• Experience with lead gen tool and marketing automation tool preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft office
• The ability to create stimulating content from concept through execution.
• Expert knowledge of standard concepts, practices, and procedures of communications
• Excellent knowledge of production requirements for marketing materials (ads, printing, etc.)
• Ability to provide information to a wide variety of audiences regardless of topic and effectively deal with issues that are confidential and sensitive in nature
• Ability to travel throughout the year as needed
