Basic Purpose:
Provide support for the production and filing of various documents, including prospectuses, SAIs and proxy statements’ with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Perform general administrative duties.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Create and edit documents using MS Word based proprietary software programs
• Convert documents to html format and make electronic filings with the Securities and Exchange Commission using an EDGAR filing software application
• Provide administrative support to assigned Fund Regulatory Specialists
• Store and index electronic documents and files
• General office responsibilities including filing, photocopying and scanning
• Liaise with other departments and outside service providers
• Other tasks and special projects as needed
Job Requirements:
• Certificate or Associates degree preferred and/or 1 - 3 years comparable office experience
• Knowledge of MS Word including the ability to edit and re-format documents using advanced MS Word functions and a working knowledge of Excel
• Familiarity with Adobe Software a plus
• Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and proofreading skills
• Flexibility to handle heavy workload and occasional overtime hours
• Good communication skills and pleasant manner
• Strong ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Must be a team player and demonstrate high professional standards
