Pay Grade: 21A
Under the direction of the CIO, The Project and Lifecycle Management Director, manages and coordinates project and change management services across the enterprise. The role interacts with functional/business unit leadership to craft a strategy that aligns with business objectives and priorities. The role is also responsible for developing a robust and flexible project and SDLC methodology for use throughout the organization, as well as effective project and change management delivery.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s Degree required, Masters’ Degree (M.S. or MBA) in business or information technology preferred
• PMP or equivalent professional certification preferred
• 10+ years of relevant experience in project and program management
• Experience leading projects within the financial services industry
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels
• Fosters and builds a collaborative working relationship with various stakeholders
• Ability to challenge the various stakeholders involved in a project
• Expert in IT financial management and organizational change management
• Competent in project management, IT governance formulation, and team management
• Working knowledge of IT risk management, IT standards and policies formulation
JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Manages a portfolio of project and change management services for the Bank
• Ensures that investments and initiatives in project management services are aligned with business strategy and priorities
• Collaborates with CFO, business unit leaders, and service managers to develop and manage project and program budgeting and cost estimation approaches, resource allocation, and reallocations
• Prioritizes programs and projects based on changing functional needs, resource capacity constraints, risk exposure, and interdependencies
• Monitors value metrics to make informed decisions that maximize returns across enterprise projects and programs
• Oversees the ‘Bank of Choice’ project program consisting of high priority strategic initiatives
• Provides reporting and status communications to executive leadership for significant projects
• Monitors the delivery of business objectives and client experience for project and change management services
• Works with business unit leaders to develop project resourcing strategies to ensure optimum support for projects and for the day-to-day operational activities• Develop, implement and maintain project management and SDLC methodologies and oversee project and lifecycle management coaching
• • Communicates status of the project and program portfolio to all stakeholders
• • Defines principles and standards to integrate project and change management methodologies from third party or external service providers
• • Ensures adoption and implementation of project and program management methodology and oversees project and program management coaching
• • Participate in all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences, etc.
