Sales Force Effectiveness Leader
Description of Role:
Internal sales process, reporting, and productivity expert partnering with commercial market leaders and specialty LOB leaders to effectively set the strategic direction for sales processes, analysis and growth. Responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, sales process improvement, sales programs and products, and sales training. Provide in depth analysis of performance and market trends.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Identifies and analyzes areas of opportunity for products and services that support business goals; partners with product managers to develop and implement as needed
• Maintains ownership of commercial sales training programs; partners with CLP to develop and facilitate
• Influences LOB leaders on local growth opportunities, goal setting and performance management
• Develop, collect, and report KPIs for sales pipeline, results, and productivity
• Develops and maintains relationships with commercial market and specialty banking leaders to create, define, implement, and assess effective sales processes and productivity and/or build new capabilities
• Manage the development and execution of sales performance improvement strategies
• Contribute to proactive development of sales strategies, through keen understanding of market trends
• Establish and leverage external networks and forums to identify sales force effectiveness best practices, technologies, environment insights and benchmarking capabilities to continually improve our operational effectiveness
• Accountable for effective communication to the sales team
• Manage the effective implementation of new technologies and the utilization of existing systems that impact the sales function
• Collaborate with the Center for Learning and Performance, and market leadership, to ensure that all new hire and ongoing training needs are met
Requirements
Skills/Competencies/Experience:
• Bachelor degree with 8+ years of demonstrated sales success in a sales/credit risk/product (or related) role
• Proven, strong sales leadership skills; team motivation skills
• Demonstrated strategic thought leader with ability to synthesize diverse information and identify business opportunities
• Strong ability to influence others; ability to be accountable without direct line leadership
• Strong coaching skills
• Outstanding communication skills in person, via presentations, and in writing
• Analytical and disciplined in creating goals, forecasting, and reporting
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time with a sense of urgency
• Keen ability to resolve problems
• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate at all levels within the organization
• Strong quantitative and qualitative problem solving, including ability to turn quantitative analysis into actionable recommendations
• Ability to work under pressure and time constraints
Work Schedule: M-F (8AM-5PM)
