Job Description
POSITION OVERVIEW
Heavy Excel for completing a wide range of tasks to enable the appropriate reporting of data and facilitate the processes within Accounting and Finance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• EXCEL SME to work with accounting and finance data
• Inquiry Fulfillment and Report Preparation - Analyzes and accurately and efficiently prepares a variety of daily, monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc reports as needed; processes data requests received in the General Ledger inbox daily ensuring a high standard of service to our internal customers. This includes maintaining current processing procedures for all recurring tasks.
• Maintains and Develops Processing Efficiencies in the Accounting Dept - Examples include, but not limited to: Working with current staff to analyze processes and make suggestions to bring efficiencies; Designing and developing improved visibility of data; Serve as a resource to department staff on systems and data related inquiries; and Processing ad hoc requests and participating in ad hoc data related projects.
• Working knowledge of financial systems including Prologue, MPC, Frontier, Nautilus and Sageworks.

Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Advanced Excel - including pivot tables, V/H Lookups and macros
• SQL a plus, desired but not required
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Technology
• 2+ years of related experience with heavy Excel experience
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency
• Highly organized with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to analyze financial information
• Ability to speak and write clearly and effectively
• Ability to work well in a team environment
