Assistant Branch Sales Manager
The Assistant Branch Sales Manager Assists the BOE/BOEM Lending Managing Partner (Branch Manager) and Branch Sales Manager with the daily administration and operation of the production activities of the mortgage loan originators; ensuring efficient customer service is provided and quality loans are generated to meet production goals and the needs of the business. This is a full-time position with typical business work hours of 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Monday through Friday, some over-time may be required. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. As the Assistant Branch Sales Manager, you will be expected to demonstrate a sense of urgency, willingness to work closely with others, and be part of the team. This is a non-exempt position.
Essential Functions/Duties:
• Assist the Branch Sales Managers and Mortgage Sales Department on the day-to-day management and administration of the Sales Department operations in order to meet the needs of the business. This also includes but not limited to:
◦ Assist with Monitoring the sales team production goals & requirements.
◦ Participate in team sales meetings.
◦ Assist with gathering client information for loan processing
◦ Possess highly organized skills, assist clients with loan structure, provide support to Loan Officers, and manage data on a daily basis.
◦ Coordinating administrative and operational tasks directly related to sales support
◦ Other duties as assigned by the Branch Manager
Education & Experience Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED equivalency required. Some college or a Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or equivalent preferred.
• Two years of experience in Sales, Financial Services and/or related industry required
• Must possess basic PC skills in Microsoft Windows, Word and PowerPoint or equivalent software. Encompass360 and Excel software experience desired.
• Demonstrate effective and strong communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with principals, executive management, all levels of corporate and customers/clients. Bi-lingual in a secondary language desired.
• Demonstrate strong negotiation, relationship building and influencing skills and behaviors.
• Demonstrate the assertiveness, perseverance, energy and passion – results oriented behavior required to be successful in a sales role.
• Demonstrate effective problem solving, planning and time management skills.
• Demonstrate the skills and behaviors required to handle moderate to large complex deals, and moderate to high volume with consistent track record of performance equal to or greater than goal.
• Demonstrates solid mortgage loan acumen.
• Experience in supervision and leadership
Our Ideal Candidate has:
• Two years of mortgage experience; Five years of total sales experience preferred.
• Experience with Optimal Blue, Sales Force and Lead Mail Box CRM preferred.
• Internet lead experience preferred.
• Prior Loan Officer Assistant experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Encompass
• Referral partner management experience
• Ability to multi-task and willingness to handle tasks across multiple disciplines
• Self-starting energy and drive to succeed
