As a Senior Incentive Compensation Analyst based in either our Irvine or Los Angeles office, you will be an important member of the Global Compensation team, supporting our global sales, marketing, distribution and product business groups. You will work alongside Capital Group’s Compensation, Sales Territory Management, Sales Crediting and Sales Management teams to support and administer the full range of comprehensive commission, incentive and bonus compensation programs. Additionally, you will support client groups in the full range of compensation management practices, including the annual common review, new hire offer, job design and the annual incentive/commission plan design processes. You also will work closely with business line management, HR Business Partners and other internal HR COE functions to deliver integrated HR solutions.
Responsibilities:
•Develop and configure commission, incentive and bonus plans on leading cloud based third party Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) system, for US, Asia and Europe based sales roles
•Manage the monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual commission and bonus payment cycles on ICM system
•Design, configure, build and test annual and mid-year commission plan changes (plan modeling) on ICM system, coordinating with internal stakeholders
•Design, develop and publish commission, bonus and incentive compensation analytics reports and dashboards
•Research and analyze global market data, salary surveys and compensation trends to effectively partner with the business to make recommendations and influence business decisions
•Administer annual compensation review process (merit, bonus, equity and promotion recommendations)
•Interview managers and develop job descriptions; manage position study reviews
•Participate in other Global Compensation team projects
•Collaborate with HR and business professionals across North America, Europe and Asia in a team oriented environment
•Maintain a strong understanding of internal and external sales compensation design principles, practices and regulations
Qualifications:
•3 or more years of financial analysis, sales administration, sales operations, Human Resources or related experience
•Strong communication, analytical, facilitation and presentation skills to foster and drive understanding of global sales compensation philosophies, practices and administration among global business line leaders, managers and sales associates
•Proficiency with complex financial modeling
•Advanced Excel, Access and Microsoft Office skills
•VBA, SQL, Alteryx and Tableau skills highly desired
•Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, finance, computer science, engineering or hard science area is preferred
•Experience using Callidus, Xactly, TrueComp, Anaplan, Oracle Incentive Compensation, Varicent, or other enterprise level incentive compensation management system is preferred
