Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Responsible for strong marketing measurement models for Enterprise Digital marketing that speak to performance, attribution and valuable KPIs across all channels – paid media, Web, email, social media, messaging, content and more. Develops digital marketing measurement models for everyday engagement and for specific programs.
• Responsible for managing and expanding the use of the Travelers Digital Marketing Performance Dashboards (powered by Beckon) by all marketing teams.
• Responsible for leading efforts to standardize and streamline all digital marketing measurement tools, models and processes.
• Responsible for managing the data displays used within the Travelers Engagement Center.
• Partners with senior management to develop digital marketing analytics strategy for company.
• Collaborates with marketing leaders in the organization and most closely with 2VP of Digital and Social Media Marketing to apply effective performance measurement across all marketing programs.
• Partners with the Personal Insurance Direct to Consumer (DTC) and Retail team to integrate direct and agency marketing metrics into a full dashboard view of performance.
• Partners and collaborates closely with eBusiness, EBIA (business intelligence), and BU data and analytics teams. Participates in the enterprise-wide Analytics CoE.
• Stays abreast of the complex world of digital marketing analytics to better understand how to look at different data sources for meaning.

Job Summary
The Senior Director of Digital Marketing Analytics leads the Enterprise Digital Marketing (EDM) analytics function. This individual reports to the VP of Enterprise Digital Marketing.
The Sr. Director of Digital Marketing Analytics is responsible for developing measurement models, dashboards and reports for digital marketing programs. This includes evaluating program goals, designing measurement criteria, analyzing and reporting out results. In addition, The Sr. Director of Digital Marketing Analytics drives our process for garnering insights from social and digital data and expanding our use of digital signals in marketing and communications delivered to Enterprise and BU marketing leaders and teams.
The Sr. Director of Digital Marketing Analytics partners with marketers across the organization to build a discipline of data-driven digital marketing where we increasingly use data and insights to plan, execute and evaluate all of our marketing efforts.
The Sr. Director of Marketing Analytics will partner with the 2VP of Digital and Social Media Marketing, the VP of Enterprise Digital Marketing and data partners across the organization to guide our use of data to understand marketing effectiveness and impact. This includes partnering with BU data and sales teams to connect into sales impact data. They will contribute to the continued development and execution of the Marketing technology and data strategy and roadmap which builds new marketing capabilities for the Enterprise.
This role is a manager of others.
Minimum Qualifications
Minimum of 7 years of experience. Minimum of 2 years of management experience.
Education, Work Experience & Knowledge
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field preferred or equivalent experience.
• Experience leading others through influence as well as management preferred.
• Experience in business-to-business and business-to-consumer preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of subject matter in order to solve unusual as well as common work problems and advise on technical matters and to serve as a resource to organization.
• Advanced analytic skills.
• Advanced communication and presentation skills.
• Strong ability to keep on top of social and digital innovations from big players like Google and Facebook as well as smaller startups in the analytics space.
• Advanced knowledge of IBM Digital Analytics, Google analytics, Beckon and analytics-related products and services.
• Advanced knowledge of industry measurement standards and emerging standards.
• Extensive experience mining practical information and insights in a fast-paced cycle.
• Thorough understanding of how to develop strong marketing measurement models that speak to performance, attribution and valuable KPIs.
