Technical Product Support Senior
What does a great
Technical Product Support Senior do?
As a full time senior production application support position you are responsible for directing a team in diagnosing and fixing operational issues with our high demand commercial cash management applications. This is a development position where an understanding of the code and ability to design technical solutions is expected in order to provide remedies through code fixes, data adjustments, or process workarounds. You will work closely with our support, implementations, and operations teams to help drive customer happiness and manage other production support engineers. You will be expected to develop a keen understanding of our product and architecture as well as payments processing and banking to find and correct flaws and deliver improvements in our applications. You will help drive process improvements in development and operations as well as interact with customers and executives to offer root cause analysis and explanations of a technical nature.

Basic qualifications for consideration:
Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant work experience
Job Related Experience:
• At least 2 years of experience with Java and Object Oriented Programming
• Experience operating and supporting critical business applications
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills to identify and resolve application issues
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to make quick critical decisions to manage production incidents
• Understanding of the necessity and value of accuracy and attention to detail
Technical Requirements:
• Java / Groovy or other JVM languages
• SQL with JDBC and Hibernate/JPA
• Web development and JavaScript including frameworks such as Angular, Ember, and jQuery
• Spring Framework and related technologies
• SOAP and REST web services
• Experience with Linux / Unix environments
• Git version control
Preferred qualifications for consideration:
• Experience in banking, financial services, and/or software industries
• Container and cloud deployment platforms such as AWS, Kubernetes, and Cloud Foundry
• Unit testing and continuous integration
