A career within External Audit services, will provide you with the opportunity to provide a range of Assurance services and business advice to a variety of clients from small, fast growing clients to large entities. Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Proactively assist in the management of a portfolio of clients, while reporting to Directors and above
• Be involved in the financial management of clients
• Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
• Develop project strategies to solve complex technical challenges for our clients
• Manage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team
• Shape and deliver projects to meet and exceed the expectations of our clients and our own quality criteria
• Train, coach, and supervise team members
• Continue to develop internal relationships and developing your PwC brand

CPA License. International hires are required to hold the equivalent accounting certification in the selected individual's home country. Hires from a PwC affiliate firm must meet the credential requirements for a PwC US senior manager in that PwC affiliate firm.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates proven extensive knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the United States (U.S. GAAP), United States Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (U.S. GAAS) and the Public Company Accounting Oversight Board (PCAOB) standards, emphasizing an in-depth, intimate understanding - for the respective industry - of the applicable business and accounting issues, and technical accounting and financial reporting standards.
Demonstrates proven intimate abilities and success as a team leader and team member within the US Assurance practice of a global network of professional services consulting firms, including, but not limited to, the following areas:
Technical Capabilities
• Applying intimate know-how of technical accounting and financial reporting standards, proactively identifying and articulating emerging technical issues; - Applying appropriately applicable auditing standards and firm audit methodology on the engagement, reinforcing compliance requirements, and evaluating critically and responding to the results of audit procedures;
• Leading client engagements to maintain appropriately quality, professional skepticism, and delivery against expectations;
• Modelling project management methodology--disciplining, scoping, planning, and overseeing complex engagements/projects; and,
• Applying effectively project management skills to maximize the effectiveness of the audit, managing and prioritizing issues based on materiality and risk.
Business Acumen
• Operating at the forefront of emerging industry developments, technology trends and business issues, especially the impact these trends have on the global value chain for clients;
• Integrating innovative concepts and solutions into the scope of new work;
• Anticipating the impact and implications of decisions on other components of an organization; and,
