Supervises a group of Commercial Evaluation Analysts whose primary responsibility is to fulfill Commercial Evaluation Reports. The department utilizes algorithms and analyzes results retrieved from commercial databases to search for comparable sales, analyze similar sales, and prepare comparisons using qualitative analysis to form an opinion of the market value of propriety.
Essential Functions
• Supervises the day to day operational activities of employees, writes and conducts employee performance reviews and provides ongoing performance feedback with management consultation. Makes hiring recommendations. Trains staff
• Monitors bank requirements and aligns department policies and procedures to meet requirements and implement best practices
• Knowledge of all CES processes in order to fulfill all reports offered by CES and guide staff on questions and issue resolution
• Responsible for oversight of Reconsiderations
• Resolve escalated issues from clients/requestors
• Run daily activity reports and other reports as necessary to perform work flow management for broad team; assign reports to Analysts, respond to special requests from customers/requestors
• Assists with all personnel management and goal setting for the functional area
• Provides regular status updates and reports to Manager
Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used
• Advanced knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures related to commercial evaluation
• Successful track record of executing day to day operational responsibilities, along with participating in, developing and completing projects in area of expertise
• Able to implement and enforce processes to ensure compliance and quality
• Provides others with reliable information and uses good listening skills
Typical Education
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Appraisal classes and exams required, or equivalent
Typical Range of Experience
• 3-5 years of directly related experience with real estate sales, real estate tax company/assessor, lender, title company or appraisal firm
• 2+ years demonstrated experience in a lead or supervisory role
