The B2B Proposals & RFP Specialist is responsible for delivering B2B proposals and written client and prospect responses to RFPs for Commercial Banking. This role will join an existing team responsible for the same.
Responsibilities:
RFP Responses
• Responsible for the research, content, format, strategic positioning and publication of written RFPs and related documents in order to win and retain business
• Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to ensure that responses are accurate, persuasive, tailored, convey a consistent message regarding our value proposition and are delivered on time and within brand standards
• Actively align efforts with the target market; track win/lose statistics to aide in determining if any changes to process or targets should be recommended
• Utilize Commerce’s tools and databases while collaborating with teams across the organization to craft differentiated, well positioned responses; ensure that questions are comprehensively answered and that written responses are appropriately customized for the specific opportunity
• Employ project management and time management skills to coordinate projects across functional areas such as sales, account/portfolio management and compliance while ensuring timely delivery
B2B Proposals
• Actively align efforts to significant opportunities within the target market
• Develop B2B proposals for prospects and clients leveraging standardization where possible and customization where necessary
• Collaborate with sales teams and internal subject matter experts to create accurate, persuasive, and tailored proposals within brand standards
• Incorporate Consultative Selling strategies into proposals for effective, value-added delivery
• Employ project management and time management skills to coordinate projects across functional areas such as sales, account management and compliance while ensuring timely delivery
Work Hours: Monday-Friday (8:00am-5:00pm)
Education:
Required
•Bachelors Degree
Preferred
•Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, management, journalism, public relations, business administration, communication studies, or related field
Experience:
Required
• Strong technical writing skills
• Strong editing skills
• Strong PowerPoint skills, including ability to creatively display information while remaining within brand standards
• Attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to handle tight deadlines
• Ability to effectively communicate with upper management
• Effective interpersonal skills
• Proficiency at prioritization and simultaneously managing multiple projects
• Demonstrated success in adhering to schedules and deadlines
Preferred
• Payment systems, banking or financial services experience
• Qvidian or other proposal automation software experience
• Experience with Salesforce.com
