Experian’s North America corporate communications organization is looking for a savvy, proactive communications professional who loves story-telling and is passionate about employee communications to join our team.
Based in Costa Mesa, CA, in the North American headquarters, the role includes driving Experian’s culture by identifying, developing, and communicating company initiatives, events, programs, and key messages that reflect corporate direction. This individual will work closely with the Corporate Communications team to understand business priorities and help support those priorities through employee communications channels.
The ideal candidate for this position will be a strong writer, a culture enthusiast, an expert on multi-channel tactics (i.e. videos, social media), a follower of communications best practices, a proven problem solver and a collaborative practitioner.
Responsibilities:
• Story mines, writes and edits compelling content for multiple employee channels
• Manages internal website and employee newsletters and creates high-quality written, video, and other visual content for the platforms
• Manages content and execution of key company meetings, including quarterly Town Halls
• Works with internal partners to execute a strategic program to increase overall employee engagement
• Drives projects from conception to completion, bringing strong organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Participates in cross-functional teams to ensure continuity of department and culture plans across the organization
Knowledge, Experience & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, English, Journalism, or Marketing preferred
• Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills
• Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach to relationship management
• Strong writing, editing, proofreading, layout, and design skills
• Confident communicator and presenter
• Ability to work with all levels of management
Proficiency in the following:
• Video production – from camera operation for video capture to video editing for final use/channel
• Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premier Pro, Dreamweaver)
• Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
