Description
SUMMARY
The Portfolio Manager (PM) will assist the top performing Market RM's with all aspects of managi ng the portfolio, allowing the RMs to leverage their time on sales related activities. The PM will report to either the Market President or the MPs designee (Commercial Team Lead, Commercial Group Manager, Senior Lender or equivalent). The PM will interface with the Credit Underwriter(s), Loan Closer and Loan Assistants within the market to accomplish specific duties listed below:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Prospecting & Relationship Management
• Perform sales and cross sell function for existing clients in attempts to deepen existing relationships (may perform this under the guidance of the RM)
• Create I Update and manage the Oppm1unity Memo (Officer Memo) event for new and renewed credits
• Meets with and negotiates with the Client on renewals and increase I cross sell of products and
services
• Meets with and engages other product team members as necessary in all cross sell activities
Image I Upload Files
• Upload Opportunity Memo to central network or any created documents from initial credit process
Credit Application Processing
• Prepares new I renewal I cross sell credit applications
Underwriting I Credit
• Reviews, edits and may be required to update the Loss Given Default Pricing models to ensure accuracy
• Prepares Term Sheets for those credits that requi re one
• Prepares Commitment Letters as needed for increases to existing credits I cross sell of prod ucts and services
• Serves in the role of RM in Deal Team meetings
• Serves in the role of RM in Credit Decision meetings
Loan Closing
• Contacts clients directly to help resolve I clarify due diligence activities and resolves issues independently
• Works closely with the Client Relationshi p Assistant (CRA) I Closers to help resolve client issues on existing cred its I services

• Contacts I works closely with outside legal counsel to resolve I clarify due diligence activities as required by outside legal
Loan Documentation
• Performs pre-document closing review for any new / updated loan closing documents prior to meeting with client for signing
Closing & Funding
• Closes and funds increases to existing cred its I cross sell of add itional products and services
• Performs post closing review of executed loan closing documents to ensure accuracy prior to submitting for closing
Portfolio Management
• Initiates the renewal process by contacting the client to obtain updated financial information I or may instruct the CRA to obtain updated information
• Manages the maturing credit lists for all assigned portfolios
• Continually communications with the RM and all team members regarding the status of maturing, renewing or pending cred its
• Strives to maintain an administrative past due % as defined by the PM Roles and Responsibilities
• Serves as the RM for all review and renewal activities
• Initiate, prepare and manage the borrowing base review and calculation process
• Reviews covenant checks, FSAs, financial statement spreads for accuracy
• Responsi ble for ongoing credit file maintenance
• Assists with clearing financial and collateral exceptions
• Assist with monitoring construction draws
• All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Education
Bachelor (4-year college) degree
3+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
