Description
Our Capital Reporting team is looking for a Corporate Reporting Senior Analyst with capital and financial analysis and reporting experience.
Key responsibilities in this role will include the following:
• Work effectively with a variety of colleagues in a deadline driven environment to support the preparation and review of deliverables related to CFG’s quarterly capital management reporting and regulatory disclosures;
• Work cooperatively and collaboratively with our partners across CFG;
• Provide ad hoc financial analysis;
• Work with team to streamline the capital reporting infrastructure to provide enhanced internal controls and gain efficiencies;
• Support effective internal control environment over financial reporting; and
• Support Citizens Bank’s process of continuous improvement by looking for ways to improve our efficiency while maintaining high quality.
Qualifications
• 3-5 years of public accounting/financial reporting experience in a medium to large public accounting firm; or
• Diversified accounting and financial reporting experience, including time at a large financial services institution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Strong technical, analytical and organizational skills;
• Experience with preparing and reviewing capital related analysis and related reporting;
• Knowledge of financial performance metrics;
• Good understanding of the banking/financial services industry;
• Bachelor’s degree, accounting or finance major, required;
• Experience with Essbase, Hyperion Financial Management and Workiva’s Wdesk application preferred.
Education requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA, MBA or equivalent preferred
