JOB SUMMARY
Under limited guidance, facilitate and execute the enforcement and administration of the Information Security Program's monitoring and governance efforts related to security events as well as systems and application configuration and access. Perform security health checks, monitoring auditing activities, and escalates detected security issues.
The Security Analyst is responsible for monitoring of security systems in order to detect potential attacks as they occur and the validation of controls in business systems. This includes the ability to provide information on previous malicious attacks and Security Information Event systems looking for suspicious or anomalous activities. In a cooperative environment perform triage on events which are reported by various detection systems.
Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering requirements. Responsible to report any procedure or process that doesn’t meet regulatory requirements including fraud, whether suspected or confirmed, to management. This reporting can be done directly to any member of management, including Human Resources or Corporate Security, or can be reported through Associated’s anonymous Ethics Hotline.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Facilitate and execute the enforcement and administration of the Information Security Program's monitoring and governance efforts.
• Perform daily operational real-time monitoring and analysis of security events from multiple sources.
• Provide security related on-call emergency support, as defined by standard operating procedures. Participate as a member of the Security Incident Response Team, acting as a security first responder.
• Govern administration of the security access to corporate communication and computing systems. Ensure proper documentation is received and appropriate authority of those approving access to information resources.
• Analyze system and application health checks and entitlement reviews to identify significant information security risks and oversee compliance with Associated Bank’s Information Security program.
• Develop and maintain the necessary documentation for Information Security standard operating procedures and standards used to protect all information assets from intentional or inadvertent modification, disclosure, or destruction.
• Contributes to the facilitation of technology on boarding and off boarding through the Information Security Program’s Risk Review process.
• Troubleshoot security access related issues within host, network, Internet and email applications, escalating all problems that cannot be resolved. Monitor the compliance of the corporate Information Security policy.
• Contribute to audit and exam inquires related to Internal Audit, External Audit, Federal Exams, and RFP requests
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Computer Information Systems or Business Discipline
Preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Computer Information Systems or Business Discipline
Required Experience: 4-7 years experience in Information Technology; 2-4 years of experience in information/computer security, policy implementation
Preferred Experience: 7-10 years experience in Information Technology; 4-6 years of experience in information/computer security, policy implementation in a banking environment
