Profile Summary:
The Vice President of Investor Relations reports to the Senior Vice President of Investor Relations and help serve as a liaison between the organization and the global investment community. The role requires direct interaction with investors and Wall Street analysts through phone calls, emails, and meetings.
Profile Description:
• Serving as a key Voya point person to articulate the company’s strategy, financial results, growth opportunities, and business initiatives to current and potential shareholders and analysts.
• Taking a larger role in crafting the investor story, leading the team as necessary
• Coordinate Investor Targeting to ensure management’s time is used effectively with investors
• Coordinating press releases, creating presentations used by senior management for investor meetings, and tracking analyst reports and consensus estimates.
• Preparing materials for quarterly earnings.
• Identifying ways for the company to improve, whether from a disclosure, strategic, operational, or financial perspective.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.
Knowledge & Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree required (Finance or Accounting)
• Master’s degrees in business and/or CFA designation is preferred
• Strong knowledge of the retirement, investment management, and insurance industries preferred
• More than ten (10) years of experience in a business environment in an investor relations, financial analysis, or Wall Street equity research role
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of the organization, including senior management
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Creative and analytical thinker
• Detail oriented and able to multitask, meet deadlines, and adjust to changing priorities
• Self-motivated and able to work in a team and independently
• Ability to exercise independent discretion on matters of significance
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite, particularly Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (high level Excel and PowerPoint skills required, including experience with template design, pivot tables, and complex formulas)
• Strong finance skill set with an understanding of accounting
• Ability to be flexible as to hours during busy periods in order to ensure project deadlines are metLI-JS1
