Responsibilities
As a Senior Associate, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above
• Train and lead staff
• Establish effective working relationships directly with clients
• Contribute to the development of your own and team’s technical acumen
• Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues
• Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients
• Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

Commitment to obtain one of the following certifications: Professional Certification in Project Management (PMP), Six Sigma Green Belt/Lean Green Belt/Master Green Belt, Certified Business Intelligence Professional (CBIP), SAP Certified Professional, Oracle Certified Professional, Enrolled Agent, CPA or any other professional certification approved for the practice before being promoted to Manager.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:
Demonstrates thorough knowledge and/or a proven record of success in Corporate, Partnership and/or SALT(State and Local Tax)-related compliance, preferably within a global network of professional services firms and/or in a Service Delivery environment, including the following areas:
• Emphasizing how compliance areas interact with SDC models and operations;
• Developing communications strategies necessary to assess audience needs; and,
• Leveraging technology and tools that enable communications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Google platforms and tools; and web-based publishing, webcasts, videos and social media platforms.
Demonstrates thorough abilities and/or a proven record of success in Corporate-, Partnership- and/or SALT-related compliance, preferably within a global network of professional services firms and/or in a Service Delivery environment, including the following areas:
• Writing, communicating, facilitating and presenting cogently, to and/or for all levels of industry audiences, clients and internal staff and management;
• Developing and executing communication plans to drive messages through a variety of channels including written, in-person and webcast presentations as well as online communications;
• Performing analyses of data to provide reporting to team and/or stakeholders;
• Working with peers within the Tax GDM team and cross-functional teams to coordinate consistent messages both internally and externally;
• Supporting projects and/or teams that drive or support change including managing stakeholders, overcoming barriers, and resolving complex issues;
• Managing multiple projects and priorities; responding to change and working both independently or as a member or a team with minimum direction; and,
• Being willing and able to travel to practice office sites.
