Jackson National Life Distributors LLC (JNLD) has an opening for an Administrative Assistant
Job Purpose
The Administrative Assistant coordinates multiple administrative functions with little supervision. The individual will work with the JNLD West Divisional Vice President who manages a team of 26 external wholesalers in the West.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
• Provides administrative support for the Divisional Vice President and the 26 wholesalers that report to her.
• Works with Jackson’s contact management system, expense accounting system, sales reporting system, PowerPoint, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and other software packages.
• Creates numerous daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports utilizing Jackson’s contact management and sales reporting systems.
• Plans and attends regional meetings, including lodging, meals and transportation, typically held out of state.
• Reviews vendor payment requests submitted by wholesalers to ensure compliance guidelines are met at all times.
• Reviews expense reports submitted by wholesalers on a timely basis.
• Prepares expense report for Divisional Vice President on a bi-weekly basis.
• Travel will be occasionally required to include weekends. (Not expected to exceed 2-3 times per year).

Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
• Highly proficient in all applications of Microsoft Office including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Must have the ability to pay attention to detail and to work independently.
• Must have the ability to handle confidential information.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Team player, independent thinker and self-motivated.
• Must be dependable and hardworking with the ability to work independently.
Education and Experience
• High school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.). Associates degree preferred
• Two plus years of previous secretarial and/or administrative experience.
• FINRA Series 6 registration and/or Life Insurance license a plus.
