Overview
Acceptance Insurance is growing! With the addition of four new states to our reach, our Sales Call Center is expanding to meet the needs of our customers.
NOT YOUR USUAL CALL CENTER POSITION!!!
• No outbound cold calling or handling “escalated calls”
• No rigid call time measurements
• All “warm” inbound calls from customers looking for a quote on auto insurance
• We pay you while you study to get your Property & Casualty Insurance license as well as the cost of testing and getting the license
• Competitive hourly rate plus bonus
Our Call Center Sales Agent serves as a direct point of contact that answers incoming calls from customers to quote and sell insurance policies and related products in a call center environment. The Call Center Sales Agent's duties may include but are not limited to processing customer applications, selling policies and additional products, endorsements, payments and handling customer inquiries.
This position is Base + Commission...so you are paid based on your personal success!
The ability to speak multiple languages is a bonus!

Company
We are principally a retailer, servicer and underwriter of non-standard personal automobile insurance based in Nashville, Tennessee. Our insurance operations actively generate revenues from selling non-standard personal automobile insurance policies and related products in 15 states. We currently conduct our servicing and underwriting operations in 13 states and are licensed as an insurer in 13 additional states.
Acceptance Insurance leased and operated 349 retail locations and a call center staffed with employee-agents. Our employee agents primarily sell non-standard personal automobile insurance products underwritten by us, as well as certain commissionable ancillary products. In most states, our employee-agents also sell a complementary insurance product providing personal property and liability coverage for renters underwritten by us. In addition, retail locations in some markets offer non-standard personal automobile insurance serviced and underwritten by other third-party insurance carriers for which we receive a commission. In addition to our retail locations, we are able to complete the entire sales process over the phone via our call center or through the internet via our consumer-based website or mobile platform. On a limited basis, we also sell our products through selected retail locations operated by independent agents.

Responsibilities
• Quote/sell insurance policies and additional products/services to current and prospective clients
• Provides product quotations, pricing, required information and directions to prospective clients
• Follow-up on price quotes given to prospects, answer questions, and to provide an opportunity to complete an application
• Request any missing or required information from customer and follow up for that information
• Make outbound calls to clients for recovery and retention of business
• Take/receive customer payments
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Minimum 1+ years of relevant experience preferred
• Has a P&C license or is able to obtain Property and Casualty insurance license within 60 days of employment (Acceptance pays for coursework and testing for all new team members)
• Must be professional and have excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Possess general knowledge of office equipment (Computer, phone and fax machine)
• Must be detail oriented
