Continuous Improvement Analyst – JG 80
The primary objective of the Continuous Improvement team is to lead initiatives to improve processes and create efficiencies across Loan Services. The analyst will identify and implement changes, and develop a CI culture within the organization. The analyst reports to the Division Manager of Loan Services Reporting, Analytics & Support.
Essential job functions of the analyst include:
• Manage continuous improvement initiatives for Loan Services, including projects that achieve efficiency gain and/or cost savings potential, generate revenue, or mitigate risk.
• Conduct comprehensive cost analysis and ensure bottom line benefits are achieved.
• Work with operations teams to effectively understand processes, document process maps, and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Engage appropriate resources to vet ideas, including stakeholders across teams, regulatory and technology resources, etc.
• Partner with support areas include reporting & analytics, training, procedures, and change control.
• Proactively develop recommendations and present them to senior leadership.
• Complete projects in a timely and organized manner. Keep stakeholders updated appropriately.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor degree in industrial engineering, operations management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• Experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and other Continuous Improvement methodologies
• Proven experience in leading change and influencing business decisions
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management, and prioritization skills
• Ability to understand the big picture and act with an appropriate sense of urgency
• Strong critical thinking, detective, analytical skills, and problem solving skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Master’s degree in related field
• General knowledge of consumer and commercial lending and default management
• Experience working with the ACAPS, ALS, MSP, CLS, Loan IQ, and KVD applications
• Use of BI Tools (Cognos, MicroStrategy, SAS, etc.) for report development and explorative analysis
