Description
The YourPlace Banking (YPB) Business Development Officer establishes rapport and builds credibility with Commercial and Business Banking partners in order to gain introductions to senior level client company decision makers and sell our bank at work program, YourPlace Banking.
Primary responsibilities include:
• Developing and maintaining an active portfolio of YPB client companies and providing effective customer relationship management in order to expand Citizens Bank share of business with key clients
• Making joint client calls with Commercial Banking / Business Banking Relationship Managers in order to sell 3 new deals per month and achieve retail checking sales targets
• Executing worksite marketing activities including financial education seminars and onsite enrollment sessions at client company location
• Securing YPB participation in company new hire orientation sessions and conducting special events including “Employee Banking Days”
• Training select branch colleagues, “YPB Champions”, within the Region on the YPB product offer, onsite execution, account opening and new YPB client on-boarding
Qualifications
Required Skills/Experience:
• 2-3 years relationship management and consumer acquisition experience with commercial, business banking and consumer clients
• Proven track record dealing with commercial and retail bank management
• Proven ability to present to senior level management
• Strong acumen to sell and communicate detailed information in regards to financial products and services
• Public speaking experience
• Business development experience
• Strong analytical / problem solving skills
• Ability to translate data into information
• Demonstrated ability to motivate and influence others
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Skills/Experience:
• Bank-at-Work experience
Education:
• Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience
Hours & Work Schedule
Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
