Job Description Summary
The Lead Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for email marketing supporting all sales channels, including triggered campaigns and implementation of automation across the marketing technology stack. Concept and execute personalized email experiences through automation to drive revenue, engage audiences, and tie back to a sales outcome.
Responsibilities
• Act as subject matter expert in marketing execution tools (Salesforce Marketing Cloud) to ensure out of the box functionality is maximized.
• Supervise a team of Digital Marketing Specialists to optimize the execution process and ensure success of marketing automation goals; provide coaching and training.
• Create programs that improve email marketing outcomes, such as A/B testing, lead scoring, segmentation, automation and journey creation; analyze results.
• Execute journey automation.
• Partner with the Marketing Automation team to understand dependencies and integration.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business field, or equivalent experience
• Eight years of digital marketing experience
• Experience in email strategy and execution
• Experience leading a team or projects in performance improvement or automation
• Experience implementing, operating, and managing comprehensive marketing automation capability for a large organization, including marketing campaign execution across email, social, and web; plus lead scoring, nurturing, and lifecycle management
• Thorough knowledge of optimization and marketing performance metrics
Preferred Qualifications
• In-depth knowledge of email best practices, key performance drivers, and toolsets
