The HR Business Partner will partner with and provide consulting support for a full range of HR Services with specific business lines, including talent management, organizational development, employee relations, recruitment, and compensation administration.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Partner with designated business units to align business strategies with employees and management objectives.
• Participate in establishing plans to effectively communicate business strategies and objectives and implementing change initiatives designed to support those goals.
• Assess and anticipate HR related needs and communicate needs proactively within HR and business management to develop integrated solutions.
• Consult with management on human resource-related issues, and act as an employee champion and change agent.
• Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation. Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
• Provide expertise, guidance and coaching to leaders in managing and resolving highly sensitive and complex employee relations matters.
• Formulate partnerships across the HR function with line management, and employees to deliver value-added service.
• Maintain an effective level of knowledge about the business unit’s financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
• At least five years of related Human Resources Business Partner experience.
• Demonstrated success as a true partner to managers to drive strategic people-related change in a business.
• Established reputation as a strong and effective advocate for employees and change agent.
• Proven strength in verbal and written communication skills.
Skills/Knowledge
• Experience in talent management, organizational development, employee relations and recruitment.
• Proven ability to proactively translate business objectives to effective HR strategies.
• Collaborate effectively with and influence peers and other leaders in making business decisions to solve complex problems.
• Ability to develop strong trusting relationships to gain support and achieve results.
• In-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to management of employees.
• Ability to lead special projects and teams by establishing project action plans and executing against plans.
• Use metrics to analyze people issues and trends.
• Business acumen.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Working Conditions
• Some local travel required.
