Due to the continued growth of our Consulting practice, we are currently recruiting for a Technical Business Analyst to join our Healthcare Consulting Practice based in our Chicago, IL office location. Analysts at Baker Tilly Consulting provide clients with best practice knowledge in application development and manage application development through the lifecycle of a project. Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will be to:
• Design develop and construct custom analytics applications
• Perform data analysis on large data volumes to support business decision making in client settings
• Contribute to the development of long term roadmaps which describe delivering large scale solutions via a series of projects
• Perform risk based assessments of new projects or in-flight projects to determine potential project issues
• Act as the liaison among the executive committee members, stakeholders, and development team.
• Manage and execute test plan activities.
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, engineering, computer science, management information systems, or related field
• At least three years of hands on experience with one of the statistical analytics programming packages - SAS, IBM SPSS, or R.
• Reporting tool knowledge: SAS Reporting, Cognos Reporting, Business Objects
• Database design knowledge, Ad hoc analysis experience, and experience working with large data volumes
• Minimum of three (3) years of related experience; previous related industry and consulting experience highly preferred in Healthcare sector
• Demonstrate, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel) required.
• Ability to provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning in order to stay current regarding applicable strategies, see the "big picture" as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment, and exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects.
• Project experience with full lifecycle exposure (e.g. business case and roadmap, requirements gathering, use case development, system analysis and design, integration, testing, deployment
• Must be able to travel and work beyond core business hours as needed for client engagements.
