Reporting to the SVP & General Manager – Elavon – Healthcare; supports Revenue Optimization for the Healthcare vertical. The VP of Revenue Optimization will act as a strategist, builder and implementer of key programs designed to grow the healthcare P&L and achieve AFE expectations. The successful candidate will establish and execute strategic initiatives that will accelerate speed to revenue across the healthcare portfolio based on the priorities of the General Manager (GM) for Elavon - Healthcare. The VP of Revenue Optimization will lead a small team responsible for portfolio management, program management, day-to-day management, and strategic initiatives of personnel to allow the GM to focus on growing our business. The right candidate for the job will contribute to the long-term success of healthcare and the company.
• Execute strategic initiatives, often within an accelerated timeline. Drives these initiatives with a “hands on” approach while leading, executing and reporting results back to the GM.
• Assist GM in managing the overall healthcare vertical portfolio results through P&L reporting and analysis, creation of presentations and financial business summaries. Work with BI team to create execute dashboards for healthcare.
• Serve as the entry point for all major new initiatives, assessing the impact and creating programs to launch the new initiatives into the healthcare organization in the right way.
• Work across the Elavon organization to garner support for healthcare initiatives and ensure healthcare is represented as the company continues to grow. Also work internally to understand major changes (such as AML) and how they will affect healthcare leaders, interpret/analyze/communicate and advocate on our behalf.
• Understand the revenue drivers for “in year new business” (IYNB), use program management and risk management approach to ensure IYNB attainment. Revenue drivers will be partner and/or customer specific – deals closed, equipment sold, certification complete, contracts executed, implementations complete, etc.
• Assess inquiries directed to the GM, determine the proper course of action, delegate to the appropriate individual to manage, ensure feedback loop occurs and deadlines are met.
• Organizes and gathers information from various departments and meetings and reports that information, along with recommendations, to executive and/or leadership members.
• Interface with support teams such as HR to discuss potential staffing requirements and headcount management, finance on results and goal setting, sales compensation, etc.
• TTUS sponsor, GLL owner to ensure trainings are completed on time across the organization, and Salesforce champion for healthcare.
• Provide training and coaching for other staff members, facilitate quarterly healthcare leadership and all hands meetings.
• Must be effective navigating the organization to produce desired results, operate with a sense of urgency, and know when/how to escalate to senior management for assistance.

• Bachelor's or MBA, or equivalent work experience
• Eight to ten years of experience in general management, program/project management and leadership activities
• Five or more years of managerial experience including people management
• Impeccable managerial and interpersonal skills
• Effective, versatile, highly organized and action-oriented
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Strong financial acumen
• Proven track record of effectively interacting with senior management
• Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments
• Very strong computer skills – powerpoint, spreadsheets, outlook, salesforce, etc
