Part-Time Retirement Service Specialist – Retirement Services
This role has primary service interactions with branch teams and other Edward Jones associates to provide technical, processing, sales tools and resource assistance for use with our clients and their professional advisors. Associates are expected to make decisions relevant to their core topical area of knowledge. With each inquiry associates must determine the questions to ask, resources to use, rules and regulations to apply, and solutions to propose. Associates must determine scope of branch inquiry and choose most effective resource to provide an accurate and compliant response. Associates will influence branch activities by suggesting best practices or identifying process inefficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver an ideal service experience on a core retirement topic through development and application of in-depth technical, process and firm policy knowledge as well as a good understanding of financial calculations and vendor product support
• Develop and demonstrate critical thinking skills in order to identify and understand client's retirement needs and provide solutions
• Identify and call attention to contacts, processes and policies which do not support branch efficiency
Position Requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Must be able to quickly learn, apply, and support the integration of new information in a fast paced, team oriented environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills are essential.
• Hours of the position may be 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and/or 3-7 p.m. CST
