In your role you will provide support and coordination to effectively manage service delivery expectations, TPA relationships, risk, control, reporting, and governance processes. Your contribution at AIG
• As an influencer at AIG, people come to you as a “go-to” source for help and support because of your deep knowledge and expertise. Because of your influence, whether direct or indirect, we are able to deliver powerful outcomes for our clients.
• Develop and execute onsite and remote TPA audits that ensure compliance with state regulations; including test steps to be completed; preparation of testing documentation; vetting of issues; remediation action plans, and management reporting.
• Coordinate to ensure regulatory bulletins and new laws are communicated to the TPAs and that any actions needed are implemented. Assist to write requirements to obtain estimates and quotes for implementation; review with management.
• Track, monitor, and report material risks and remediation for compliance with company requirements. As needed, assist to evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the controls environment to minimize risks and deter/detect control failure.
• Coordinate Business Continuity Planning (BCP) activities for compliance with BCP policies and deliverables. Assist in testing of BCP plans as requested (e.g. tabletop exercises) including preparing remediation needed to BCP..
What we are looking for
• A Bachelor’s degree in management, finance, accounting, economics or similar is preferred but would consider a candidate with a record of high performance; that has demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills and has a high analytical aptitude.
• 5+ years of related work experience in Business Analysis/Operations. Understanding of Operations processing functions such as Customer Service, Claims, and Billing highly preferred but not required.
• Professional experience in one of the following areas is a plus: Internal Audit, Compliance, Financial Operations, Operations Management.
• Advanced PC skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Ability to adopt and proficiently use the SharePoint application and other technical applications, as required.
• A self-starter that can be depended on to execute on assignments with minimal supervision but that also knows when to seek help and assistance.
• Excellent organization skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments, set priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Able to easily build relationships and network across departments with all levels in the organization as well as with external clients.
• Willing to travel (annual visits and potential additional trips, as needed).
