Our Marketing Communications department is seeking a Corporate Communications Manager to join our growing team in our Worcester, MA offices.
Position summary:
The corporate communications manager will develop and lead multiple elements of a comprehensive, multi-channel internal communications program. Key clients will include some, if not all, of the following: Human Resources (e.g., Talent and Acquisition, Learning and Development, Compensation and Benefits, etc.), Community Relations, IT / HTG, Facilities and Corporate Security. As assigned, the senior corporate communications specialist also will assume responsibility for broader initiatives that address a range of internal and external audiences (e.g., business continuity communications, corporate announcements, organizational announcements, etc.).
This is a Full-time, Exempt role.
Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
In concert with the director of corporate communications, the corporate communications manager (CCM) will drive the planning and execution of multiple elements of a comprehensive, multi-channel internal communications program.
The CCM will serve as a communications consultant and trusted partner to assigned internal clients, providing a wide variety of services including, but not limited to: communications planning, creative concepting, content generation, editing & proofing, project management, gathering/analyizing/reporting analytics, managing client expectations, and serving as a client’s primary liaison to the Marketing Communications team.
Along with colleagues on the internal communications team, the CCM will ensure brand, voice and messaging consistency across all communications and internal platforms. The specialist will work with internal clients to write and edit copy to ensure communications are crisp, on-message, meaningful, appropriate for the medium and reflect “one voice.”
He/she will work with print and web design and digital marketing teams on projects, as appropriate. Serve as liaison for the internal client / and creative lead for the assigned project.
The CCM will consistently produce quality/timely outcomes of deliverables that support business goals and meet the needs of key clients.
He/she will research best practices for internal communications and make informed recommendations for our team to advance our communications efforts. Examples may include: video, intranet, podcasts and on-site digital signage.
It will be imperative for the CCM to develop strong relationships with internal clients and colleagues on Corporate Communications and internal communications teams. To that end, he/she will be responsible for scheduling regular meetings with clients and maintaining open channels of communication.
The CCM must be comfortable working on a small team and bring a positive attitude and demeanor to his/her work. We work hard to cultivate a team-first environment.

He/she will have regular interactions with VP of Marketing Communications and VP of Corporate Communications, and members of the HR leadership team.
Position Requirements:
•A minimum of five to eight years of experience in employee and HR communications, or a related field.
•B.S./B.A. required. Degree in communications, journalism or English preferred.
•Proven strategic, planning, consulting, writing and editing skills.
•Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills. High level of emotional intelligence.
•Proven experience delivering employee communication results and in strategizing, planning, managing and implementing programs.
•Proven experience in developing and managing communications in support of large-scale projects and broad corporate initiatives.
•Proven experience leading cross-functional teams.
