Senior Director, Marketing - Employee Benefits Services
The Senior Director, Marketing, will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the business. This position reports directly to the SVP, General Manager of Equifax’s Employee Benefits Services.
As a member of the leadership team, the Senior Director, Marketing, will drive and champion marketing activity throughout North America for fast growing business vertical. He or she is responsible for developing and executing on strategic marketing goals and budgets, articulating the vision and value proposition to employees and employers, and driving key internal relationships to ensure success. Critical to success in the role will be the incumbent’s strategic and marketing capabilities, business acumen, and the ability to successfully navigate multi-stakeholder environments. The incumbent will have full ownership for all lead generation, communications, and marketing activation activity for B2B and B2C related marketing initiatives that generate revenue, profit and meaningful market share for Equifax. The leader must excel at working across multiple units within the enterprise, as well as establish and maintaining key external relationships.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Significantly grow the Employee Benefit Solutions business for Equifax with focus on developing marketing strategy for new and existing products.
• Drive strategy and tactics for campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR.
• Work closely with the business’ sales team; enabling them to mee their commercial objectives with appropriate sales materials and presentations
• Lead marketing team including direct reports and extending marketing support resources
• Manage and deliver on marketing budget
• direct and indirect marketing teams
• Work seamlessly across Equifax in order to smoothly engage and coordinate all marketing and cross functional activities in support of marketing efforts.
• Assess consumer and client needs, and leverage appropriate Equifax expertise/solutions for profitable marketing capabilities and support
• Manage consumer CRM program for benefits subscribers
• Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
• Manage the performance of the team including motivating, developing and leading them to deliver superior marketing performance
• Develop key marketing KPIs that implement performance management processes
• Play a significant role in the "Growth Playbook" strategic planning process
QUALIFICATIONS:
• EXPERIENCE: Must have strong leadership background with proven track record of success in senior Marketing roles. 10-15 years in B2C & B2B marketing, preferably with 5+ years in subscriber based businesses.
• EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in marketing or similar field required. M.B.A. preferred or equivalent business experience.
• TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Customer, prospect and partner meetings, team meetings, industry events and conferences: 30-40% travel
• TEAM LEADERSHIP: Confident, driven, and dynamic leader. Experience in managing sales teams. Remote leadership experience is preferred.
