Ameritas Life Insurance Corp is seeking a Benefits Specialistto join our Human Resources Total Rewards Benefitsteam. This position will drive the business by providing customer service to internal Ameritas associates while assisting with the administration of benefit programs, retirement, pension, deferred compensation, and absence management programs for associates, agents, and retirees.
Essential Job Functions
• Assist associates, agents, and retirees with benefits enrollment and questions.
• Complete assigned administration of all benefit programs including enrollments, changes, payments, and terminations in accordance with benefit program policies and practices.
• Process benefit program invoices; maintain a record of payment.
• Conduct assigned benefit program audits including eligibility and compliance audits.
• Assist with department initiatives including acquisitions, education training, open enrollment, and implementing new programs.
• Additional duties as required.
Requirements
• Bachelor degree in H.R., business, or related area of study; or equivalent amount of relevant experience in the field.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in the H.R. benefits, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
