Description
Position Goals:
The Credit Analyst I is responsible for performing credit analysis, underwriting and monitoring of the commercial loan portfolio.
Direct Management Received:
Under the general direction of the Manager, Credit Department or Senior Manager, Credit Department.
Direct Management Exercised:
None
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Completion of the following tasks at a basic skill level:
1. Complete accurate, unbiased credit analyses within required timelines and according to standards including cash flow analysis, credit decision summary preparation and credit processes.
2. Complete credit monitoring functions for designated portfolio including spreading and review of financial statements, borrowing base and covenant testing, marketable securities and leveraged lending monitoring and annual credit reviews.
3. Assign call codes, NAICS codes, risk grade and risk rating score data accurately.
4. Review appraisals and real estate evaluations.
5. Use of financial spreading software, loan system, cash flow analysis and other credit systems and tools
6. Attend and participate in loan committees as requested.
