Position Summary
Opportunity to join our Future Focus Internship Program as a Data Intern
Erie Insurance is committed to helping you learn and grow with a challenging internship position that will offer you relevant and real world business experience. We are currently hiring candidates to join our program for the upcoming summer internship program as Data Interns!
Who should apply?
• Applications are accepted from full-time college students currently attending an accredited college or university to pursue a four-year degree or to complete a graduate program full-time
• A four-year degree student should be completing sophomore, junior, or senior year
• A graduate program student
• A minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 is required to be considered for an internship

Data Internship Roles
Erie Insurance offers interns the opportunity to gain experience in several different areas in our organization focused on Data and Analytics
• Preparation: Assist with the process of cleansing and wrangling data prior to reporting and analytics.
• Reporting: Assist with the creation of ad-hoc and recurring reports using appropriate programming languages and software tools.
• Analytics: Assist in conducting detailed analysis related to ERIE’s products and services using appropriate programming languages and software tools.
Duties and Responsibilities
Performs various tasks related to the achievement of division objectives.
Conducts research and gathers information and assists in creating presentations as required.
Analyzes data and reports findings.
Verifies and enters data into appropriate system, and updates electronic files.
Provides clerical and administrative support as needed.
Completes special projects as required.

Qualifications
High school diploma, or equivalent, required. Pursuit of Bachelor's degree with completion of sophomore year in a relevant field required. Minimum 3.0 GPA required. Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software preferred.
