The Wealth Advisor –Sales primarily focuses on acquiring and developing affluent and high-net worth relationships within assigned markets of First Commonwealth Advisors®. Works independently or through a team, makes connections with people, motivating and inspiring them, in order to achieve sales goals. Drives toward results, utilizing proven abilities to successfully influence and persuade others in order to receive their buy-in and commitment. The Wealth Advisor must have urgency toward goal achievement and thrive in a fast paced environment.
Essential Job Responsibilities
1. Acquires and develops affluent and high-net worth relationships in order to meet assets-under-management and revenue goals, following an established sales process.
2. Develops and executes a sales plan, with defined sales activity levels, including: self-generating prospects through external contacts and community involvement, training and calling with internal business partners, and working with others to deepen existing client relationships. .
3. Works independently or through a team, makes connections with people, motivating and inspiring them, in order to achieve sales goals.
4. Collaborates with team members, business partners, and outside advisors to deliver relevant, suitable and holistic client strategies and solutions.
5. Consistently reports sales activity, pipeline, and client contacts using business unit and enterprise-wide systems and formats.
6. Drives toward results, utilizing proven abilities to successfully influence and persuade others in order to receive their buy-in and commitment. Has urgency toward goal achievement and thrives in a fast paced environment.
7. May initiate or assist in the completion of client relationship management plans, road-mapping expansion or ongoing fulfillment, providing sales leadership or technical expertise in specialized area, such as investments, insurance, and fiduciary services, and contributes individual skills to complement overall team capabilities.
8. Projects enthusiasm, motivates others, and promotes the First Commonwealth Advisors® brand internally and in the community.
9. Remains current on ever changing industry topics including laws, wealth strategies, market performance, and competitive landscape through company-provided and self-sourced information.
Bona Fide Occupational Qualifications
1. A bachelor’s degree in business or closely related field is required.
2. A minimum of five (5) years of experience in wealth-related sales is required.
3. Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
4. Certifications or licensing which may include one or more of the following: Series 7, Series 66, Life, Accident and Health Insurance License, Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC).
5. A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel regionally are required.
