This position is within the Global Consumer Solutions Data and Analytics team. Equifax Global Consumer Solutions (GCS) is the consumer facing business unit within Equifax, a global leader in information solutions and services. At the heart of Equifax's consumer business is its suite of identity protection, credit monitoring, and debt reduction products that help individuals protect their identity, understand and control access to their credit, and maximize their overall financial well-being. Consumer acquisition and engagement is primarily via digital properties and driven by marketing efforts, advertising, public relations, social media, CRM initiatives, and partner channels.
The Director of Digital Media Marketing Analytics is responsible for collecting, analyzing and providing actionable data-driven insights to the marketing team with a focus on customer acquisition and maximizing ROI of marketing investments. Core responsibility is to identify, collect, and translate data to help drive strategic and tactical recommendations to support business goals, bridging the gap between the Analytics and Marketing teams.
Essential Duties
Working directly with Analytics and Marketing teams, this position is responsible for collecting and providing insights that will directly impact marketing and media performance to support GCS goals. This position has the responsibility of identifying underlying trends in complex customer, media, and CRM data and presenting actionable insights to internal marketing and external agency teams. Additionally, this position will assist in the planning and implementation of technology infrastructure needed to support Equifax’s Digital Insights and Analytics needs. Finally, this role will help translate the Marketing team’s objectives and measurement and analysis needs within the Analytics organization.
The ideal candidate is self-motivated, possesses a passion for both analytics and strategy, has a mix of marketing, media, and business intelligence experience, and encourages collaboration across teams.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop analytics, reporting and dashboards within Adobe Analytics to deliver actionable recommendations to address priority marketing questions and present complicated data in a way that cuts through the noise and allows the audience to focus on the underlying trend or insight.
• Partner with Marketing team to support analytics for business reviews, monthly performance reporting, ad hoc analytical needs, new product and site launches, content and offer testing, and trend and anomaly identification.
• Be the day-to-day Customer Insights and Analytics resource for external marketing agencies. This includes ensuring data is being shared and arrayed correctly, validating consistent attribution and forecasting methodologies are being leveraged on both the Equifax and agency sides, and working with internal and external conversion teams to verify testing data is properly being captured and analyzed.
• Assist Analytics team with identifying advanced analytics inputs, limitations, and methodologies and be able to communicate the requirements to IT teams
• Assist in planning and optimizing of marketing projects aimed at driving acquisitions and/or ROI – including defining KPIs and providing performance analyses of marketing efforts
Qualifications
• 5-7 years of Adobe Analytics and/or Google Analytics experience, including segments, calculated metrics, Analysis Workspace, Data Warehouse, Ad Hoc Analysis, Report Builder, Processing Rules (Advanced)
• Adobe Target experience (Intermediate or above)
• Understanding of data layers and Tag Management Systems
• Comprehensive understanding of metrics for Media (e.g. impression, GRP, CPA, etc.), Consumer Marketing (e.g. LTV, ROI, Brand Preference), and Digital Media Sources (DFA, DS3, etc.)
• Consumer digital media marketing experience required; Direct response marketing experience is a plus
• Excellent communication skills when addressing both analytical and non-analytical audiences
• Self-motivated professional who thrives in a fast paced environment and has delivered proven results with minimal oversight
• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred (e.g. marketing, statistics, supply chain), Graduate degree is a plus
