Ally's Treasury Department is a key component of our funding strategy that continues to build a World Class culture that engages a vibrant team of professionals that contribute to the growth and development of our thriving Ally Bank. Ally's Treasury Department includes the Capital Management, Balance Sheet Management, Global Functions and Liquidity, Structured Funding and Bank Relations, Treasury/Capital Markets Operations, and the Treasury Program Management strategic areas of our organization. Our Treasury professionals are responsible for effectively managing the balance sheet capital ensuring that our organization supports profitability and growth.
The Treasury Director will be responsible for supporting Treasury Operations and associated business partners throughout the organization.
Job Responsibilities
• Understand and document business requirements for Treasury application projects
• Assess viability of system solutions for payment processing via multiple channels (fedwire, ach, swift, etc.)
• Ensure system solutions are updated to meet changes in payment messaging formats
• Work with technology partners and system vendors to design and configure workflows that minimize processing risks and maximize processing efficiencies
• Design overall end-to-end test plans for development efforts, upgrades, migrations, and release program
• Execute and/or oversee execution of system testing to insure proper mitigation of risks
• Support application end users by providing training, documenting functional procedures, and providing business analyst service
• Role could involve serving as a back-up resource for production processing of payments
Qualifications
• 8+ years' work experience in Finance, Treasury Operations, Capital Markets, or information technology with focus on high value payment formats -- swift, fedwire
• Prior experience with payment application implementations, data migrations, workflow design and configuration is a must
• Prior experience with Temenos Payment Hub application preferred
• Strong understanding of treasury accounting concepts
• Familiarity with ISO20022 format and implementation requirements for fedwire and swift payments preferred
• BA/BS from a 4yr accredited university required (Accounting major is preferred)
• Ability to think strategically, design and implement elegant solutions in complex environments are critical skills
