Responsibilities
As a Director, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Proactively lead the practise by setting strategy, drive the development of new business in the market, and provide technical advice across disciplines
• Building strong networks within the firm to spot and capitalise on opportunities to get involved in projects that others are leading across a number of different business units and sectors
• Identifying and discussing key issues with our clients to identify potential opportunities
• Responsibility for a majority of day to day client communications
• Responsibility to shape and deliver various projects that exceed the expectations of our clients and our own assignment quality criteria
• Manage and deliver large projects by developing the project team, assessing engagement risks throughout, driving conclusions, and reviewing / challenging the output produced by the team
• Responsibility for management of engagement financials
• Helping to grow and develop our team through hands on training and coaching
A role with the Financial Markets Business Advisory services team will provide you with the opportunity to contribute to a variety of audit, regulatory, valuation, and financial analyses services to design solutions that address our clients’ complex accounting and financial reporting challenges, as well as their broader business issues.

Demonstrates a proven background in, and/or success in managerial roles involving, real estate valuation under U.S. GAAP and IFRS, emphasizing an intimate knowledge of Real Estate Finance and valuation concepts and terminology under both U.S. GAAP and IFRS, as well as specialized transaction and valuation services including:
• Real Estate Market transaction and/or market participant data analysis;
• Cost, market, and income valuation methods, including discounted cash flow models;
• Real Estate transactions consulting, including finance and financial reporting facets and implications;
• Public and private REITs, investment funds, and corporate clients;
• Mortgage debt, CMBS, and/or other Real Estate related financial instruments valuation, regulatory and/or transactional experience.
Demonstrates ability to conduct research and perform analyses of pertinent real estate-related client, industry, and financial, accounting or regulatory technical matters while utilizing problem-solving skills and various software packages - i.e. Microsoft Office and Argus DCF/Enterprise -to perform and/or deliver the following results that include:
Collection, synthesis and analysis of real estate market data across property types on a domestic and foreign basis;
Analyses of historical property operating statement, and implications on value and forecasts;
Review and preparation of real estate, and real estate related instruments valuation analyses using the three acceptable methods of valuation (cost, market, and income approach - including discounted cash flow models).
Demonstrates experience with analyzing real estate related transactions, including advisory services, due diligence, business combinations and sales related transactions for financial, accounting, valuation, and/or compliance related deliverables.
Demonstrates extensive intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team member helping teams to generate a vision, to establish direction and motivate members, as well as create an atmosphere of trust, and leverage diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation.
