About the Role
Our top-notch accounting department is growing again! This is an excellent opportunity to expand your accounting career within a fast-paced and growing financial organization. Our Bank Accounting Rep will work to maintain a good working relationship with all of our 14 bank divisions across seven states, while providing friendly, courteous and accurate customer service. Will work under general supervision, performing all of the daily functions and procedures of the accounting department and assisting as necessary with special projects.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Monitor cash management settlements daily.
• Process Accounts payable and Federal Reserve Reports for 1-2 banks weekly.
• Balance Federal Reserve Account and Pacific Coast Bankers Bank and monitor daily activity.
• Process incoming and outgoing wire transfers daily.
• Account reconciliation of participating Bank Accounts monthly.
• Provide backup for team members on all duties above. Other duties as assigned.
• Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control, Sarbanes Oxley controls, Business
• Ethics and Standard of Conduct, Electronic Communications, Confidentiality and Privacy. Must complete the assigned online training courses and achieve a passing score by due date.
About You
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 1+ years of banking experience required.
• Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years of accounting experience preferred.
• Prior AP/AR processing experience preferred.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:
• Ability to prioritize multiple, and sometimes, conflicting tasks.
• Strong attention to detail while working under pressure.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to ensure accurate, friendly, professional contact with all customers and co-workers.
• Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise.

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including computer terminals and keyboards, telephones, copiers, facsimiles, and calculators. Must be able to routinely perform work on computer for an average of 6-8 hours per day, when necessary. Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.
Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: Light work. The employee is constantly required to stand and walk. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds to waist level and occasionally overhead. May occasionally need to lift up to 50 pounds, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.
