Job Description
Visa is seeking an experienced technology risk management professional that will work with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate key technology risks, and evaluate the effectiveness of mitigation strategies. Specifically, the candidate will be responsible for leading the technology controls monitoring and validation program. The program includes evaluating control testing results executed by third-parties and Internal Audit, as well as the execution of an independent controls effectiveness validation program. The candidate must be have a deep understanding of technology risks and controls, be able to provide practical, client-focused solutions, and effectively partner and communicate with multiple stakeholders. The position reports to the VP of Technology Risk (within our Enterprise Risk Management organization).
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Be a subject-matter-expert (SME) on technology controls (cybersecurity, privacy, availability/reliability, disaster recovery, change management, etc.)
• Deep understanding of control frameworks and best practices
• Experienced leading and overseeing control effectiveness validation programs
• Experienced leading a team of analysts and senior analysts who will execute the program
• Track, report, and monitor on control findings identified through the program. Be able to provide and assist management with implementation of remediation strategies
• Represent Enterprise Risk in governance bodies and/or review forums focused on technology risks and controls
• Partner with Cybersecurity and other technical experts to evaluate risks to our environment
• Make recommendations to management on risk treatment strategies
• Continuously enhance the program to ensure it remains in alignment with industry and regulatory expectations and best practices

Qualifications
• 10+ years of experience in evaluating technical risks and controls
• Subject-matter expertise on cybersecurity (e.g. access management, data security, etc.), availability (e.g. incident and change management, capacity management), and business continuity risks and controls
• Ability to prioritize deliverables and projects to meet timelines efficiently, to adapt to changes in priorities quickly
• Superior analytical and problem solving skills
• Ability to effectively communicate formally and informally
• Ability to facilitate group discussions and debate across geographic, functional lines and levels
• Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems or Computer Science
• Professional certifications: CISSP, CISA
• Excellent written, oral and presentation skills
• Strong program management skills
• Ability to work well with all levels of the organization both on a one-on-one basis and as the member of a team
• Highly motivated and a self-starter
• Payment industry experience a plus, but not required
• Experience in Big 4, consulting, or regulated industries a plus, but not required
