JOB SUMMARY:
Responsiblefor managing a bankingteam of Small Business Banking Officers and Relationship Managers for the Community Banking Group. Provide direction and leadership. Ensures the team builds a robust pipeline and manages a portfolioof flagship Small Business Bankingclients rangingfrom complex credits to depositonly relationships. Performs all duties in accordance with the company’s policies and procedures, all U.S. state and federal laws and regulations, wherein the company operates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Performspersonnel actionsincluding performance appraisals, disciplinary actions,and interviewing candidates for employment; supervises the daily activities of the team including, but not limited to, effective delegation of assignments, developing work schedules and providing necessary training.
2. Provides leadershipto assigned business development officers and relationship managers,and manages credit opportunities presented by deposit and loans oriented managersand business development officers. Responsibilities also include managingthe team’s credit and operational risk.
3. Responsible for directly sourcing and originating new small business banking loan opportunities and sourcing and referring additional loan opportunities to all other business lines within the bank.
4. Responsible for directly sourcing and onboarding new deposit opportunities and cross-selling treasury management services.
5. Oversee the SCL portfolio for renewals.
6. Works with staff to ensure excellent customerservice and sales. Leads staff to accomplish company goals.
7. Identifiesand implements marketing strategies and plans events to support sales.
8. Participates in communityaffairs to increase the Company's visibilityand to enhance new and existing business opportunities.
9. Processes,solves and answers complexcustomer transactions, problems or inquiries.
10. Reviews account opening reportsfor sales tracking.
11. Provides supervisionand support to all areas of the assigned banking team where serviceor assistance is needed; oversees activities of assigned personnel.
12. Consistently applies decision making techniques pertaining to inquiries, approvals and requestsas they apply to existingpolicies and procedures, keepingwithin assigned approval limits and using these instances as learningtools for employeedevelopment.
13. Treats people with respect;keeps commitments; inspires the trust of others; works ethically and with integrity; upholdsorganizational values; acceptsresponsibility for own actions.

Qualifications
ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS,AND ABILITIES:
◦ Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and laws as they pertain to this position including but not limited to the following: Regulation Z (Truth in Lending Act), Regulation B (Equal Credit Opportunity Act), Fair Housing Act (FHA), Home Mortgage Disclosure Act (HMDA), Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) in conjunction with the USA PATRIOT Act, Anti- Money Laundering (AML) and Customer Information Program (CIP),Right to Financial Privacy Act (RFPA, state and federal)and Community Reinvestment Act (CRA).
◦ Advanced experience, knowledge and training in progressively responsible Company administration, management and supervisory activities.
◦ Advanced experience, knowledge and training in all operational and lending activities and terminology.
◦ Advanced knowledge of related state and federal Banking compliance regulations, Company operational policies and procedures, and the Company’s products and services.
◦ Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
◦ Intermediate math skills; calculate interest and percentages; balance accounts; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; computerize, ratio and percent, including the drafting and interpretation of bar graphs.
◦ Effective organizational and time management skills.
◦ Exceptional oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
◦ Ability to make decisions that have significant impact on the immediate work unit and cross functional departments.
◦ Ability to organize and prioritize own work schedule and the work schedules of others on a short-term and long-term basis.

◦ Ability to deal with complex difficult problems involving multiple facets and variables in non-standardized situations.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR LICENSES:
◦ Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or University and a minimum of 10 years related work experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Work related experience should consist of an in-depth background in Bank Secrecy Act compliance and supervisory skills.
