Responsibilities
• Produce accurate technical and contract documentation for construction of retail tenant improvement projects
• Provide project team coordinator for incorporating design intent into the construction documentation
• As a Job Captain, coordinate design intent and production schedules with CADD Technicians and provide guidance and quality control
• Coordinate with consultants (MEP), General Contractors, Permit Expeditors, Client Project Manager and regulatory agencies to meet overall project objectives
• Coordinate with Project Architect for sign/seal of construction document sets for permit
Required Qualifications
• Professional degree in Architecture or Interior Design
• 4+ years of professional experience
• Knowledge of building codes, zoning, jurisdictional processes, building materials, specifications and construction techniques
• Experience on construction document preparation
• Ability to focus on s single client with a variety of project types in various stages of design/construction
• Motivated Self Starter with a willingness and ability to work remotely with team members across the continental US
• Proficient in AutoCad
• Proficient in REVIT, Sketchup and other 3D modeling software preferred but not required
• Proficient in Adobe (create, view, comment on PDF)
• Leed accreditation is a plus
• Must be proficient in Sketch up
• Must have at least 4 years experience producing construction documents for restaurants or retail
• Revit experience is a plus
• Experience in Architecture rollout is a plus
