Internship – HR Project Management Team

As an intern with our HR Project Management Team, your role will be responsible for working with subject matter experts to develop and coordinate the implementation of change management plans. The Project Management intern will work with project manager to define business requirements, prepare project informational session materials and develop project plans. In addition, you will track and report on project plans.
This team will value your contribution, mentor you professionally, and share valuable professional expertise. You will work closely with other functional areas such as HR Information Systems, Corporate Communications, Learning, Payroll, Compensations, and Recruiting. Our intern will have the opportunity to make an immediate contribution to our growing team while building marketable work experience.

This is a paid internship. We provide complete training and support. Upon graduation, successful interns may continue their career as a Full-Time member at OneMain Financial. Additional opportunities are available for those demonstrating leadership skills and a willingness to relocate.
The right qualifications for success
Ideal candidates for a OneMain Financial internship will have high energy and the drive to succeed, and will fit the following profile:
• Current college student in Junior or Senior year pursuing an bachelor’s degree – min 3.2 GPA
• Available full-time during summer months and flexible hours during the school year
• Strong interpersonal, communication and problem-solving skills
• Microsoft office- Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word
• Detail-oriented
• Analytical skills
• Strong written skills
• Ability to work 10-20 hours a week
