Apply to join Freddie Mac’s Internal Audit Division as our newest Audit Supervisor of the Multifamily, Finance and Capital Audit team. Our team covers a variety of areas including end-to-end processes for the Multifamily division, financial reporting and valuation across business lines, regulatory and economic capital and the framework for measuring the corporate profitability.
Your Work Falls into Three Primary Categories:
Audit
•Conduct audit reviews of the organization's financial and operational processes and provide recommendations for the business to improve.
Administrative
•Allocate and schedule resources, generate reports for management and audit committee and assist with the annual audit planning.
•Lead specific control initiatives, firm-wide process changes or conduct special investigations.
Data Analytics
•Setup new process and reports for ongoing monitoring.
•Review programming codes and reperform as part of the audit procedures.
Qualifications
•5-7 years of experiences in risk management, accounting and/or internal audit; other relevant experiences may be considered.
•Solid understanding of the financial services industry, including Multifamily, financial reporting, economic capital and stress testing.
•Experience in auditing financial institutions with a focus on financial risk and solid understanding of audit methodology and risk/control assessments.
•Data query and analytical skills, including SAS, SQL and database knowledge.
•Strong communication and writing skills.
•Strong problem solving and people skills.
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline or equivalent experience.
Preferred Skills
•Financial institution or public accounting firm advisory experience.
•Audit experience in underwriting, securitization, loan loss reserve, stress testing and valuation of financial products.
•CFA, CPA and/or CIA certifications.
•Quick learner.
