Lead System Analyst – Finance Data Foundation
Working remote may be considered for this role.
Job Summary
Lead Software Analyst will work closely with the Business Users, Systems Analysts, Subject Matter Experts, Developers and CDO Office in building and supporting Finance Data Foundation Platform. Leads efforts to consult with internal business clients and offer solutions using best software and engineering practices. Facilitates implementation of data mappings, implements data governance standards and practices that guide the architecture, design and delivery of Finance Data Foundation-based solutions. Researches and maintains knowledge in emerging data management technologies and data lake applications. Works with operations staff to enhance operational framework that supports systems, policies and security frameworks to ensure delivery of information to appropriate groups. Perform Source Data analysis and implement Data Quality solution across portfolio of Financial Instruments partnering with Data Governance Officers, Business and Technology Partners and CDO staff.
Primary Responsibilities
• Performs systems design and analysis, develops data mappings, and implement testing strategy to ensure successful and seamless data integrations across various IT systems and applications components
• Develop requirements to support OFSAAI Configuration, GL Recon functionality, and OBIEE reports, guide implementation, ongoing platform development and operations.
• Early identification of development issues and corrective action to mitigate issues is required and part of the responsibilities.
• Determine the best tool to development and maintain the functional or reporting requirement using a "best-of-the-breed" development approach.
• Develop detail-level design documents from functional requirements and adhere to the development and naming standards established.
• Works on projects providing Finance Data Foundation subject matter expertise and technical direction to more junior technical staff and may be technical leader medium size projects
• Reviewing and evaluating new requirements, change requests and problems by conferring with business analysts and SMEs
• Directing, monitoring and assigning work to those on the team. Provides technical work guidance or mentoring. Estimating, Planning, Organizing and assigning tasks to various team members.
• Representing Finance Data Foundation team in status and management meetings with business stakeholders
• Partner with Architecture team on development standards, processes, tools, techniques and product selection.
• Prepare and present technical concepts to internal audiences and management.
• Work within a disciplined change-and-configuration management environment to maintain control over the development and introduction of new function to the operations.
• Participate in the roll-out of any changes to the production environment and the setting of new standards using change control, documentation, and full communication with the operations and support
• Third level support for development/production support issues for above mentioned Finance Data Foundation modules.
Qualifications
• College degree, preferably a B.S. in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems or a related field or the equivalent
• Strong leadership and communications skills
• AWS Solution Architecture is highly desirable but not required
• Ability to provide Finance Data Foundation subject matter expertise and technical direction to team members
• Technical expertise in process and data modeling
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex data-related problems
• Experience in Agile, SDLC, Software Design, Software Documentation, Software Testing
• Hands-on expertise to define and implement Data Quality framework
• Good understanding of ETL tools like Informatica
• Good background in Database Design and SQL, OBIEE, Finance Data Foundation
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and manage changing priorities
• Experience with OFSAA OFSDF & GL Recon, RWA, Basel II & III, CCAR (Comprehensive capital Analysis and Review) Q&M is desirable
• Subject matter expertise in Banking products and systems for example loans, deposits, securities & derivatives front office systems and processes
