JOB DESCRIPTION
ICE Data Services, a division of Intercontinental Exchange, provides data, analytics and technology solutions to the financial markets across a wide range of business segments and assets classes. ICE Data Services offers a suite of desktop and mobile applications to deliver the content and capabilities on which our customers rely to navigate the markets. As a Business Analyst of Product Management for Oil and Refined Products Desktop Solutions, you will define the product strategy for the desktop and mobile offering. You will be responsible for defining and overseeing the implementation of the content and functionality requirements for customers in the oil and refined products markets. You will work closely with the sales team and directly with customers to understand their needs and to prioritize the product road map to maximize new sales opportunities and retain existing customers. You will also work closely with the technical product management team to ensure that the application is built to meet the specific needs of these customers.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Work with sales, customers and the development team to define and manage the long-term vision for oil and refined products desktop and mobile offering.
• Gather and create documentation that details the content and functionality as required by these users.
• Work with the project team and stakeholders to fully define use-cases and functional requirements of platform.
• Assist project management with prioritization and tracking of the implementation of platform requirements.
Knowledge and Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, or Finance
• Experience using or managing financial software products
• Experience as a trader or analyst in the oil and/or refined products markets
• Exceptional written, verbal and presentation skills
• Proven organizational skills with strong commitment to product delivery
• Detail-oriented with demonstrated ability to write unambiguous requirements
• Must be results oriented and self-motivated
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
• Ability to effectively facilitate requirements gathering and review sessions involving multiple stakeholders
• Occasional travel
