Consultant-Workforce Management
Office of Workforce Management (OWM) is an advisory and consulting function within Operations & Technology that focuses on developing Workforce Strategies, Workforce Advisory, IT Outsourcing Maturity, SLA Governance, and Service & Relationship Management.
• Responsible for contributing to and participating in developing Workforce strategies for Operations and Technologies organization within Mastercard
• Works with teams across MasterCard as well as all strategic suppliers to get quality talent, improve Financial Accountability, and Cost Optimization
• Guiding business units on optimal resourcing mix
• Act as the Subject Matter Expert on Workforce Management and the various staffing / workforce management methodologies
• Responsible for “what-if” scenario planning and analysis, so that senior leadership can act with confidence and with a clear understanding of the financial and operational implications of the workforce plans
• Identifying workforce risks and mitigation strategies into the workforce plans
• Acts as a consultant to the BIOs in the area of workforce planning and sharing best practices to accelerate business success and help achieve financial goals for the organization
• Facilitate SLA (Service Level Agreements) Performance & Governance for service contracts
• Supplier Relationship Management
• Manage relationship with other key stakeholders like Legal, Tax, Finance, and Sourcing
Role
• Ideation, development and execution of SOW’s leveraging best practices across Operations & Technologies
• Be the consultant & advisors for business stakeholders
• Help develop measurable service requirements that can be negotiated with suppliers in development of contracts
• Ensure alignment to Operations and Technologies Staffing strategy
• Act as primary escalation points for service issues related to contracted outsourced functions
• Assist with Business Continuity plans with key suppliers
• Measuring success/KPI’s @ a functional level & reporting with internal stake holders
• Participate in monthly governance meetings with key Technology Partners
